2024 Test of Proficiency in Korean

The Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) is a test to measure the Korean language proficiency of non-native speakers and suggest directions for further Korean language curriculums. This examination is administered by the National Institute for International Education (NIIE), a branch of the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Korea, and the Korean Education Center of New York (KECNY).
Please refer to the following information on the upcoming 95th TOPIK.
A. TOPIK Test Date: July 13th, Saturday
- TOPIC I: 9:40-11:20
- TOPIC II: 12:50-16:20
*Please be seated 30 minutes before the exam begins.

C. Test Registration
- Registration Period: April 29th, Monday – May 7th, Tuesday
- How to Register: Online
- Test Fees:
TOPIK I: $40
TOPIK II: $55
*Test fees are non-refundable after the registration period.
- Elligibale Applicant: All (No age limitation)
*Any additional applications will NOT be accepted after the deadline (May 7th)
*It is NOT allowed to change your test site or test type once registration is complete.
*The minimum number of requirements is ten applicants per test. In case of fewer than 10 applications, the test will be
canceled and the full amount will be refunded.
*Please contact KECNY if any special arrangement is required.
D. Notes
- Bring your ID: You must bring official identification with a photo, date of birth, and full English name. ID must be valid and
information must be identical to your application.
- No electronic devices: Any kind of electronic device is not permitted, including smartphones, smart watches, tablets, and
recording devices. All electronic devices must be turned off and submitted to proctors before the
exam. Failure to submit any switched-off electronic devices will be considered cheating and those
will not be eligible for the future TOPIK tests for the next five years.
E. Test Results: The printable result will be posted on www.topik.go.kr on August 22nd, Thursday.

교육부 산하 국립국제교육원이 주최하고 주뉴욕총영사관 뉴욕한국교육원이 시행하는 2024년도 제95회 한국어능력시험(Test of Proficiency in Korean)을 다음과 같이 안내 드립니다.
A. 시험일: 2024. 7. 13.(토), 9:40~16:20
- TOPIK I: 9:40~11:20 (총 100분)
- TOPIK II: 1교시 12:50~4:40 (총 110분)
2교시 15:10~16:20 (총 70분)
*시험 시작 30분 전까지 입실 완료 시험 시작 이후 입실 불가
B. 시험 장소: 뉴욕한국교육원 지정 시험장 3개처

- 대상: 한국어를 모국어로 하지 않는 모두. 연령 제한 없음

*접수 후 시험 장소 및 종류 변경 불가
*수준별 접수 인원 10명 이상 시행 가능. 최소 인원 미충족 시 시험 취소 및 전액 환불
*장애에 따른 편의 지원 필요 시 뉴욕한국교육원으로 연락
D. 기타
- 사진, 영문 이름, 생년월일이 기재된 국가에서 인정하는 공식 신분증(기간 만료 전의 여권, 운전면허증 등) 원본 필참
- 전자 기기 소지 불허 (시험 전 전원 종료 후 감독관에게 제출)
- 부정 행위 적발 시 향후 5년간 응시 불가
E. 성적 발표: 8월 22일(목)에 한국어능력시험 홈페이지에서 확인 및 출력 가능
