제36회·제37회 한국문화강좌
한국학중앙연구원에서는 한국학에 관심을 두고 있는 외국인 대학생(학부생)들을 대상
으로 한국문화강좌를 운영하고 있습니다. 본 강좌는 외국인 대학생들에게 한국의 언어
와 문화를 직접 배우고 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공함으로써 한국에 대한 전반적인 이
해도를 증진하고, 이를 통해 미래의 한국학 연구자를 육성하는 것을 목표로 하고 있습
니다. 한국문화와 관련된 주제별 특강, 한국어 강좌, 전통문화체험 그리고 문화유적답사
등으로 구성되는 본 강좌는 1993년 이래 총 35회에 걸쳐 70여 개국 982명의 학생이
참가한 바 있습니다.
여름방학을 이용하여 한국에서 한국문화강좌에 참가를 희망하시는 분은 아래 사항을
참조하여 지원해 주시기를 바랍니다.
▮ 강좌 기간(선택)
◦ 제36회 한국문화강좌 : 2024년 7월 1일(월) ∼ 7월 19일(금), 3주간
◦ 제37회 한국문화강좌 : 2024년 8월 5일(월) ∼ 8월 23일(금), 3주간
※ 중복 신청 불가
▮ 진행 언어: 한국어
※ 참가자는 한국어를 듣고 말할 수 있는 기본적인 능력이 있어야 합니다.
▮ 지원 자격 및 제출 서류
◦ 지원 자격: 해외 대학의 2학년 이상 학부생 중 한국학 전공자(부전공자) 또는
한국 관련 과목 이수자
※ 한국 국적자 및 대학원생 제외
※ 한국 관련 과목 이수자의 경우, 성적표에 해당 과목명이 명시되어야 합니다.
※ 대학 내 한국학 전공이나 한국 관련 수업이 개설되지 않은 경우 한국어 프로그램 수료증으
로 대체 가능합니다.
◦ 제출 서류
1) 지원서
2) 재학증명서 1부
3) 대학 성적표 1부
4) 한국어 또는 한국 관련 전공자 담당 교수(강사)가 작성한 파일(별도 양식 제공)
5) (선택) 한국어 능력 인증서
- 한국어능력시험 성적표 (TOPIK 성적표) 또는 한국어 프로그램 수료증
※ 모든 제출 서류는 한국어 또는 영어로 작성하여야 하며, 그렇지 않을 경우 한국어 또는 영어
번역본을 함께 제출하여야 합니다.

※ 왕복 항공료, 교통비(인천국제공항과 연구원 간 교통편 포함) 및 의료보험료는 참가자 본인
부담입니다.

The 36th & The 37th
AKS Summer Program for International Students
The Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) is pleased to announce "The 36th &
37th AKS Summer Program for International Students." As an important part of
our mission is to cultivate young leaders, who can contribute to the
development of Korean studies, the academy has organized an intensive
summer program for international undergraduate students in Korean studies.
This program is composed of various components, such as special lectures on
Korea, intensive Korean language courses, field trips, excursions, and traditional
cultural activities. Since its starting in 1993, we have held the program 35 times
and 982 students from over 70 countries attended it.
If you want to participate in the AKS Summer Program for International Students
that will be held twice during summer vacation, please refer to the following
and apply.
▮ Program Period
◦ The 36th: July 1 (Mon) ∼ July 19 (Fri), 2024 (3 weeks)
◦ The 37th: August 5 (Mon) ∼ August 23 (Fri), 2024 (3 weeks)
※ Please choose one that is more convenient for you. You CANNOT select both.
▮ Language of the Program: Korean
※ The participants are recommended to possess basic Korean language skills.
▮ Eligibility and Required Documents
◦ Eligibility
Undergraduate students in their second year or above from universities abroad
who are majoring or minoring in Korean Studies and those who took
Korea-related courses from their universities.
※ Those who are in graduate school or hold Korean nationality are not eligible for this
program.
※ For those who took Korea-related courses, the course names should be specified in the transcript.
※ If the applicant’s university does not offer a Korean Studies major or Korea-related courses, a Korean language institute certificate can be substituted for the university transcript.

▮ Financial Support
◦ The Academy of Korean Studies will cover the cost of registration, lectures,
accommodations, and meals during the program as well as expenses
incurred during field trips and excursions.
※ All participants are responsible for their travel expenses including the round-trip
airfare, transportation fees between the airport and AKS, and medical insurance.
