2024 Spring KOREAN CLASS

Korean 1A (Monday)

No prior knowledge of Korean is necessary. This course is for beginners in Korean and aims to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Korean. Students will learn Korean pronunciation, basic grammar, and vocabulary. The Korean script (한글 Hangeul) will be introduced from the beginning of the course. Also, students will learn how to express themselves at restaurants, and stores.

Meet the Instructor

Jiyeon Kim (김지연) will teach 1A section 1. She received her M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Kim has taught all levels of Korean classes since 2014. She is currently teaching Korean at Columbia University, Brooklyn College, and the Korea Society.
