2022 Fall KOREAN CLASS
Korean 1 Certificate Course
This is an accelerated course that encompasses the full Level 1 (i.e., 1A and 1B).
It will meet twice a week and progress at twice the rate.
To receive the certificate, students must pass an on-site test in NYC at the end of the semester
and attend> 70% of instruction hours as well as a passport-style photo.
The date and time of the exam are to be determined, most likely after the semester starts with student input.
The certificate will be issued by the Korean Education Center of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York. As an official certificate issued by the Korean government, it can be used as proof of Korean proficiency for jobs or visas that would require it.
All are welcome to take this accelerated course, even if they do not plan to test for the certificate.
